After enjoying a great and relaxing time at last night’s recreation, we began this day earlier, with a Eucharistic Celebration prepared by the Sisters from Colombia and São Paulo/Brazil. Fr. Mario Agudelo, SDS (Colombia), member of the General Leadership of the Society of the Divine Savior was the presider.
Our Founder, Fr. Jordan, left us a rule for the Salvatorian Family, a devotion to the Apostles as our Patrons and models of excellence in the following of Jesus the Savior. Today is the feast of St. Andrew, so we are celebrating!
We spent the morning in plenary session to analyze, discuss and vote on some of the Proposals to the General Chapter for the next six years.
In the afternoon we were free to rest or to go shopping in the city. At 5:00 PM we met at the Mother House of the Society of the Divine Savior to see the house and pray at the tomb of our Spiritual Father, Fr. Jordan. It was an opportunity to meet with our brother Salvatorians of the Mother House Community, and also to celebrate the life of Fr. Andrew Urbanski, General Superior of the Salvatorian Priests and Brothers, who was commemorating his Name Day. Thus we prayed the Afternoon Prayer of the Church and then had supper together. We thank our brothers for their warm welcome to us!
