USA Salvatorians Take Action for Justice

The Salvatorian Sisters in the USA Province are implementing several justice actions. We recently began to participate in UNANIMA, a United Nations non-governmental organization that brings together a group of women’s religious communities to help shape United Nations policies.

The Involvement of the Austrian Province of the Salvatorian Sisters in Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation (JPIC)
For many years the Austrian Province has had of Sisters who are involved in issues referring to Social Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation. Presently, this group is composed of seven Sisters.

Brazil
The Salvatorian Commission JPIC (Justice and Peace and Integrity of Creation), of the Salvatorian Family in Brazil, had their meeting in August 2009, in order to share and to reflect on the JPIC’s actions of each Salvatorian Unit and to continue the implementation of the Chapter decisions of the three branches of the Salvatorian Family.
