Motivation for Our Worldwide Mission.

"Because our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, died for all, our apostolic charity extends to everyone without distinction. Our founder left us a heritage which binds our Congregation to universality in its mission, apostolic means, members and place of activity. In this tradition, we are ready, for the glory of God, to serve anywhere in the world."
(Constitution, 5)

"Our whole life is apostolic. It is the expression of the love of Christ urging us to spend ourselves like the apostles that others may have life....We try to be credible witnesses to the Good News through our goodness, justice and love toward all. In ministering to others, we serve the Lord Himself. At all times, our concern is for the salvation of the whole person."
(Const., 29, 31)

"Our efforts toward social justice and our respect for human dignity help people both to gain freedom from ignorance, sickness, poverty and other oppressions, and to open themselves to the goodness and love of God our Savior. Whatever our specific work, we serve everyone with a grateful spirit, convinced that we receive more than we give."
(Statutes, 6.1)

"As Salvatorian women, wherever we are in mission, we open ourselves to the culture in which we live, valuing its truth and confronting all that threatens true life. Our desire that all know the one true God and Jesus Christ and to promote true life, compels us to enter into ecumenical and inter-religious dialogue and to unite forces with others to promote all aspects of social justice including a special reverence for all of creation."
(Statutes, 6.6)
