25 YEARS OF SALVATORIAN SISTERS IN MOZAMBIQUE

The MozamIMG-20171029-WA0035bican parish of St. Matthew, as well as children and teachers of the Salvator School in Chimoio, sisters and brothers from many religious congregations, Lay Salvatorians and the participants of the African Continental Meeting, celebrated a feast of joy and thanks with our sisters in Mozambique on November 5, 2017. The seed that the Sisters of the Province of Brazil/Santa Catarina laid in Mozambique in 1992 during the civil war is growing and developing constantly. To date, nine Brazilian missionaries are accompanying the growing mission. Education, health care through natural medicine and the training of local community church leaders are special focuses of Salvatorian women in Mozambique.
